Faceless Worship

I dedicate this article to all who want more of God and, with a humble heart, recognize that we are nothing without Him.

'But now bring me a musician. And when the musician played, the hand of the Lord came upon him.' (2Kings 3:15)

We are dealing with a passage where we see God’s power being shed upon Elisha. He received God’s inspiration while the musician was playing, in other words while the worship was taking place. But who was that musician? Where did he come from? Have we already heard about this same worshiper in anywhere else in the Bible? He is unknown....he is a faceless worshiper!

I’m not sure who that musician was but I do know that his worship ushered in God’s presence. And for that to happen there is no need to be 'famous'!

We can learn something really important in this scripture: We do not need to be known by men but we do need to be known by God and know how to attract His Presence with our worship.

The faceless worshiper is the one who does not have concern for being 'on show' but who makes God’s presence evident. He is the one who through worship, allows God to move! He creates the right worship atmosphere that makes room for God’s power to be manifested. And all of this happens without him being the centre of it all.

For that to happen the worshiper needs to have intimacy with God, according to His heart, so that a simple touch on his instrument or a simple gesture of worship, may provide God’s look upon him, attracting God’s attention to the worshiper.

We know nothing about this musician’s life, but I believe that the fact that God’s power came upon Elisha, while the worshiper played, is a result of a life spending time in God’s presence. It is the result of a life full of rewards conquered in a place of intimacy with the Father - a pure and genuine relationship with God, in a place where he is not expecting man’s applause but waits to attract the glimpse of the Father who see us as we are.

We have much to learn from this musician. A kind of worshiper that does not seek his own glory but the glory of God! A kind of worshiper who lives a life of intimacy with God, who knows how to touch God’s heart with worship, who knows how to attract His look, His attention, His Presence in such a way that allows Him to manifest the power of His presence in the right place where He has been adored. This is God’s invitation and the great challenge for all of us.

Let us become, with all our heart, Faceless Worshipers.

Favor Confession

Morning all! I would like to share a confession that we speak over our lives at our church......

Father, I thank You for making me righteous and accepted through the Blood of Jesus. Because of that, I am blessed and highly favored by You. I am the object of Your affection. Your favor surrounds me as a shield, and the first thing that people come into contact with is my favor shield.

Thank You that I have favor with You and man today. All day long, people go out of their way to bless me and to help me. I have favor with everyone that I deal with today. Doors that were once closed are now opened for me. I receive preferential treatment, and I have special privileges. I am God's Favored child.

No good thing will He withhold from me. Because of God's favor, my enemies cannot triumph over me. I have supernatural increase and promotion. I declare restoration of everything that the devil has stolen from me. I have honor in the midst of my adversaries and an increase of assets - - especially in finance, real estate and an expansion of territory.

Because I am highly favored by God, I experience great victories, supernatural turnarounds and miraculous breakthroughs in the midst of great impossibilities. I receive recognition, prominence, and honor. Petitions are granted to me even by ungodly authorities. Policies, rules, regulations, and laws are changed and reversed on my behalf.

I win battles that I dont even have to fight, because God fights them for me. This is the day, the set time and the designated moment for me to experience the free favors of God that profusely and lavishly abound on my behalf.

Hallelujah! I have the Favor of God!
In Jesus' name - - Amen

Be Encouraged

I'm reminded of a message I once heard Dr. Mark Chironna speak at Azusa several years ago, "My Present Position Is Not An Indication Of My Future Potential In God". We must realize that our present state, or present situation, struggles, or issues, does not dictate our future state in Christ, for what we see now is only temporary. My friend, you are somewhere in the future and you look much better than you look right now. Rom. 8:18, "For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time cannot be compared to the glory that shall be revealed." The things that we are dealing with in our lives are only for our betterment; for our perfection; there not to make us bitter but rather to make us better. All things are working out in our favor because we love Him and we've been called, my friends(reference-Rom. 8:28). So be encouraged! God loves you and I Do Too!!

Just The Beginning

Hello, my name is Ray and this is my very first blog. I was inspired by one of my friends on twitter, Kya, who is also a blogger on this site. Big props to Kya for bringing inspiration. So journey with me as I share with you. Hopefully something that I will share will be encouraging, uplifting, and thought provoking. Ok, that's all for now! Until next time, peace!
